A concert that promises to be an exceptional evening of singing!!
Canada's foremost professional chamber ensemble is making its debut in Prince George on a tour that will see this world renowned choir visiit only two northern citiies on their 2012 BC tour.
Based in Toronto, the Elmer Iseler Singers is considered to be Canada's premiere professional chamber choir with an enviable international reputation since its debut performance in 1979. Now conducted by Dr. Lydia Adams, the group was founded by and nurtured under the direction of the late Dr. Elmer Iseler, the "Dean of Canadian Choral Conductors." This choir has built an international reputation known for the unique beauty of their sound and has set the standard for all choirs!
The Cantata Singers along with other local choirs, totalling over 100 voices, will join the the Iseler Singers at the concert for two fabulous choral pieces.
