Damian Dorschner holds a Music Diploma from Keyano College in Fort McMurray and a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Lethbridge. He has experience as a choral conductor, soloist, and choral singer in both Lethbridge and in Lloydminster, where he taught for four years at Lakeland College Performing Arts.
Over the years, Damian has enjoyed being able to perform as a soloist, chorister, and conductor in various concerts and performances. His highlights include his graduation recital at the University of Lethbridge which included works by Handel, Beethoven, Wagner, Faure, and Fine, singing with the U of L Singers when they competed in the Cork International Choral Festival in Cork, Ireland, being on stage with the chorus for the Banff Centre production of the Canadian Opera "Filumena", conducting part of Schubert's Mass in E-flat with the Vox Musica Choir and members of the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra, singing the bass solos for a Bach Cantata with Vox Musica an members of the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra, participating in the Banff Choral Workshop which culminated in a performance of Carmina Burana with the Vancouver Chamber Choir, singing on tour with the National Youth Choir in 2002, and singing a number of Broadway songs in concert at the Vic Juba Community Theatre in Lloydminster.
