Our Concert Season

Each year, the Prince George Cantata Singers strive to present two to three concerts at various locations throughout the community each year. We are often honored to partner with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra (PGSO) to perform a variety of works, including Christmas productions and major choral masterpieces. Some of our past performances have featured Fauré’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and many more. We deeply value our long-standing relationship with the PGSO and the opportunities to bring classical choral music to the wider Prince George community. 

For our own concerts, we frequently perform at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church-which also serves as our rehearsal space- the Knox Performance Centre, and a few other locations throughout the city.  Anywhere that offers heightened acoustic sound and enough space to host a concert- you can count us in!

What to Expect at Our Concerts

Our concerts are an exploration of music, featuring diverse themes and repertoire. Under the direction of our talented, new musical director, Carolyn Duerksen, and with the skillful accompaniment of Maureen Neilsen, we present music from various cultures, styles, and time periods, often singing in multiple languages. You’ll never be bored at one of our concerts.

Brightest and Best
Saturday, Dec 6, 2025 (2 pm and 7 pm)
St. Michael and All Angels Church
Join us for a traditional choral concert to warm a winter's night!  We will be offering a matinee performance at 2 pm, and an evening performance at 7 pm!

PGSO's Musical Merriment
Sunday, Mar 8, 2026  (2 pm)
Vanier Hall
Come see the PGSO for an afternoon of musical celebrations, from the shimmering beauty of an arctic sunrise to Mozart’s elegant Coronation Mass!  Prince George Cantata Singers joins the orchestra and soloists for Mozart's popular major choral work.  For more information from the PGSO's website, click here.
