Our Concert Season

Each year, the Prince George Cantata Singers present two to three concerts at venues across the community, celebrating the joy of choral music in all its diversity. Our performances explore a rich variety of themes and repertoire — from timeless classical works to contemporary choral pieces — often sung in multiple languages and styles.

Under the direction of our talented Music Director, Carolyn Duerksen, and accompanied by Maureen Nielsen, audiences can expect engaging programs that highlight both the artistry of our choir and the beauty of collaboration. We are frequently honoured to perform alongside the Prince George Symphony Orchestra (PGSO) in major productions such as Fauré’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah, continuing our long-standing partnership in bringing exceptional music to the Prince George community.

For our own concerts, we often perform at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church — our rehearsal home — as well as the Knox Performance Centre and other local venues that offer resonant acoustics and welcoming spaces for audiences. Wherever we sing, our goal is the same: to share music that inspires, connects, and uplifts.
